This is really a great game. As a kid I made my own slingshots and was pretty good using them. So this game is right down my alley. I enjoyed throwing the birds at the pigs and later the monkys. I especially like the black bird because it blows up and you get more pigs or monkeys with it. After you have gone through all the levels you can put the game back in later and see if you can get a higher score by selecting any part of the game or level you want to. I enjoyed the 3D effect especially on the 3DSxl. I bought the game because my grandson is in to Angry Bird everything. I wanted to see what it was all about. He was right. It is really fun to play. Though there is a difference of 60 years in our ages, I try to show an interest in what he is interested in. I highly recommend this game for children and old folks as well. “Angry Birds lends itself perfectly to VR, where players can experience the already highly engaging characters and gameplay mechanics in a much more tangible and immersive way than ever,” noted Resolution Games CEO Tommy Palm. “Just as Angry Birds was applauded for its intuitive controls and gameplay on mobile, we feel Angry Birds VR: Isle of Pigs will continue that legacy for VR.”
• With a new Angry Bird comes the expected array of returning birds and new ones. Good ol’ Red makes a return with a new special ability (these can be activated by tapping the screen while any bird’s in flight). Red sends off a quick gust of wind that knocks anything in its way over. Blues is capable of easily knocking over ice blocks, plus its special ability splits it up into three smaller birds instead of one. Chuck comes in handy for cutting right through wooden structures and its special ability allows it to speed up into a bullet-like shot. Matilda is able to lay eggs while she’s airborne, which provides her with enough force and momentum to make her go higher and hit her targets easier.
Know Where to Attack. In cases of structures which are kind of protecting the pigs, most of the time, you don't attack the pig or the structure's walls directly - you go for the base! Every structure will eventually collapse if you target on its basal support. Also look out for thin layers on a structure’s built for it may be an entry for your army birds.

On December 11, 2014, in honor of the Angry Birds' 5th birthday, an episode with 30 user-inspired levels was added. On June 23, 2015, Flock Favorites was added with 15 levels inspired by previous episodes. On December 11, 2015, in honor of Angry Birds 6th birthday, new 15 levels were added to Birdday Party. On December 11, 2016, in honor of Angry Birds' seventh birthday 15 more levels were added to Birdday Party.
Though some of the easier levels you can muscle through with sheer brute force by using high-damage birds like the red bird, black bird, and blue birds, they simply won't last in multi-wave levels, even if you quaff a bunch of potions. Bring the white bird along to regularly heal your main damage dealers. I'll almost exclusively use my pepper once it's charged up on the white bird to heal the whole party in those longer stages.
After a couple years of variations on the same pull-and-fling theme, Angry Birds charted a new course to the stars—and Angry Birds Space ($1) is the result. If the original Angry Birds seemed like a glossier riff on Crush the Castle, at least Angry Birds Space feels truly creative and original, putting a brand new spin on the environmental puzzler.
Angry Birds Friends (free), as the title suggests, is the social spinoff of the series: Rather than play solely to gain all the stars, you’ll compare your scores against those of your Facebook friends, and compete in weekly leaderboard competitions. Also, instead of a huge vault of levels to take on, Friends offers up a brand new set each and every week.
The seventh update, "Birdday Party", was released on December 11, 2011 to commemorate the second anniversary of the first release of the iOS version into the iTunes App Store. It included 15 new birthday cake-theme levels, as well as updated graphics and the addition of elements from the spin-off games, such as the scoring graphic seen in Angry Birds Rio and the introduction of the orange bird that first appeared in Angry Birds Seasons. The update was later released for Android and Microsoft Windows. The eighth update was released initially to iOS on March 20, 2012 in a lead-up to the release of Angry Birds Space. The new update included an animated tutorial, enhanced gameplay, all new UI graphics, and the first 15 levels of "Surf and Turf," the Angry Birds Facebook-exclusive episode (see below), another 15 levels were added later, with the iOS version receiving the power-ups first seen in the Facebook version.
